How to get job off campus !

Although this is my personal blog and i was intended to write by philosophical thoughts only in it,but i don't know why this idea strikes my mind,i.e to write my experience, and help newcomers and freshers to get job, specially the one who did'nt got placements in campus drives.these are suggestion,i must say,job is a tough task to achieve, but it is possible, and necessary. Please follow these steps,it can be very beneficial for you.

1.first thing you should keep in you mind is that you will get a job ,no matter how much qualified you are, what is your percentage, everybody has a right to live a better life and hence every body has a right to get job,if you are not very much skilled even then you will have it,may be according to the level of potency you have, less salary, but you should do it.Never give up or think like looser, like i am not good for anything or no body needs my talent, believe that your talent is required, you just have to explore your self to the world .

2.Don't always aim for government job,you know in india there is a working population of about 400000000 and there are hardly 50000000 government servants,so if every body will aim for it the chances are even less(i am not here to guide you to fight in the war,i am here to help you to earn living,so if you are a fighter better leave this page)Government jobs are good but if you are not able to get it it doesn't means you are a underdog, there is a very big factor working there, and it is 'the chance'.

3.Remember majority of indian population are either working in private firms or they have there own business(may be of small scale but enough to make them and there family survive)so you should also keep your options open for a small entrepreneurship,or working in private firms.

4.So this is how you should start,if you are not recruited by college campus,go for online job portals,a number of people think they are not effective,or they only mind there business, and i must say this is completely wrong assumption,if job portals will not help you no body else can,a number of times free job portals are so effective
that they even can provide you with a better option than your payed job consultancy, the reason is job portals have much wider scope and they cover recruiters globally, payed consultancies don't have such a vast scope, often they are locally oriented, all you should know is how to use these job portals. And for that you should keep following points in mind.

5.Regularly update your profile on job portals.yes this is the most important step,i had experimented that whenever i update my profile i get about 2 to 3 times more calls in comparison if i don't update,so why is updating your profile is important, the reason is hidden in my question, answer me suppose you made a profile on naukri.com or timesjob.com today and get a job after 2 or 3 days, will you even bother to come back to the portal and tell them that i got the job,100 % no,because you are busy with your job now,so how will naukri.com understand that,if you will not update your profile they will consider that you got it and they will no more keep you active, actually they have softwares for recognizing in this manner that software only sends job suggestion to those users who update there profile. No matter what you are updating, just change a comma or fullstop,or even just a word, all you have to do is to inform there robots that you are alive and still searching job.

6.In start try to survive your self on a low salary, don't be egoist for few years as if you don't have job you are already in a shit,so try to compromise with your faith for few years, even if you are getting a job of 5000 a month,go for it i am sure you will be able to earn enough for your survival in the next 6 months, companies are not cruel or meant to exploit you, they just want to test you, have patience .

7.While on the job portal, make your resume your self if you are an expert,if you are not sure that will this resume attract the recruiter go for professionals,if you are not good in writing a good resume it is not a crime, you should be expert of your field, this is a professional world, and everybody must be proficient in his/her task.job portals provide these service, and also they will highlight your resume to the top recruiters for minimal amount(about 3000 rs  for life term). This amount freshers often spend in travelling and local consultancies, which i must say a number of time, have no degree of professionalism.

8.Try to be decent in talk,to every body, frustration(which is very common in freshers)often become the most dangerous disease which harm them self, alway talk calmly, there is no need to show your anger and frustration to others, and also others are not responsible for that(although frustrated mind always blame others,so avoid it)try to realize that you are responsible for your suffering and only the calmness inside you can heal it.If you will remain calm you will be able to get help of others in a much better way,and then only you will be able to help others.this system,in which we are living demands for integrity, and a loner will suffer, you don't have to enter into personal life, but be calm and ready to help.

9.Make an Email account,it is good if you already have it,and make a separate label namely 'job' in it,mark each and every email send to you by recruiters through job portals to you with that label, give a thought to each opportunity ,don't underrate any opportunity ,all i mean to say manage your self and the opportunity you get.

10.Increase your Network. This is a world of advertising, the more you advertise yourself, the more chances are that you will come in eyes of recruiters, recruiter have more faith on there employees rather than outsider, hence increase the list of professional in your contacts, advertising yourself is more easy today in comparison to  past days, there are so many peoples linked through social networking sites, increase you activity and expand your network on facebook, orkut or myspace.Twitter is a very nice manner to introduce your personality, use it!Maximum professional  could be found on LinkedIn,it is the most professionally oriented network,Make your blog, regularly update your blogs, mainly the professional aspects. These channels are emerging fastly to lower the gap between the employers and recruiters .If you are still taking these sources as entertainment you are falling of the road my friends, take it seriously to expand your professional exposer.

10. Finally have confidence and faith in yourself life comes up with a lot more of opportunity, never loose hope, keep in mind, you have right to live and earn, but always be with honesty. In my perception online job portals will always be more helpful to you then anybody else.May god bless you.

Here is be the priority of online job portals which i would suggest you to use, although i must say this is completely my choice based on my experience, you should go by your heart if you have even slight doubt on it.

freshersworld.com
